Goodies 2009

Une petite note pour annoncer les produits dérivés à sortir en fin d'année (le 8 octobre, en même temps que La mélodie des tuyaux). Cette fois ces produits seront disponibles au seuil et non chez la marelle. Je suis très heureux de ces nouveaux produits pour lequels j'ai enfin pu suivre et choisir toutes les étapes de fabrication et ainsi obtenir des produits parfaitement réalisés et de grande qualité à des prix très démocratiques (c'est la crise!).

Nous avons, avec le seuil, préféré démarrer avec peu de produits et des produits simples (pour commence)r afin de privilégier les sorties de livres. Mais plusieurs autres produits dont certains assez originaux suivront bientôt (je vous en reparle vite).

 

I proudly present the goodies that will be available at the end of the year (on the 8th of October, at the same time as La mélodie des Tuyaux). This time they will be brought to you by Le Seuil instead of La Marelle. I’m very excited about these new goodies. I’ve finally been able to keep track of the manufacturing process and have had them made the way I imagined them. They’re excellent quality and very reasonably priced (crisis!).

With Le Seuil we chose a few simple goodies to start with so as not to overshadow the books, but many other goodies – some of them quite original – are soon to follow (more about that soon).

Tout d'abord un calendrier 2010. Un calendrier très grand format (33 x 45 cm !!). J'ai conçu la maquette dans esprit circus, en osmose avec La mélodie des Tuyaux. A l'intérieur au verso de la couv et de la quatrième de couv l'integralité des mois du calendrier avec annotés les jours fériés et dates importantes.

Firstly a calendar for 2010. It’s very large (33 x 45cm !!). I drafted the paste-up with the spirit of the circus in mind to keep it coherent with La mélodie des Tuyaux Inside, on the back of the cover and on the last page all the months are listed with highlights on the national days and important dates.

Et, c'est là qu'est la nouveauté : Suivent 12 affiches pré découpées et détachables (sans aucune typographie sur les visuels), afin de choisir son visuel librement pendant l'année et ensuite pouvoir détacher et afficher ses images préférées. Depuis le temps que je reçois des demandes d'affiches par mail, j'espère que vous serez comblés !

What’s new about it is that there are 12 pre-cut posters that can be taken out (with nothing written on the visuals) which allows you to change visuals at will throughout the year and then detach and display your favorite pictures. I hope you’ll enjoy this as many people have inquired about posters!

J'ai choisi mes images best of d'un peu tous mes livres. L'impression en trame aléatoire est vraiment d'une qualité exceptionnelle, on a vraiment l'impression de se retrouver devant les originaux!!!

I picked the most successful pictures out of all my books. The quality of the prints is outstanding, as good as the original drawings!

Un carnet grand format (18cm de haut)  et souple reprenant mon visuel de blanche neige et de la mauvaise reine. La garde est aussi imprimée et le papier interieur est un joli papier ivoire plutôt grammé  :

A large and supple notebook (18cm tall) featuring my picture of Snow White and the evil queen. The flyleaf is also printed and the ivory paper inside is nice and thick. A good price for a top-notch notebook (7€):

Enfin un petit cahier d'écolier souple avec les tables au verso ( pour les nuls en math, comme moi!). Je l'ai voulu très 50's, avec l'étiquette et la petite règle graduée sur les gardes ( pour ceux qui l'ont oubliée). Là encore un beau papier ivoire grammé ( sans lignes) :

Lastly a small and supple notebook for school with the tables on the back (for those who are as bad at math as I am!). I was looking for a 50s feel, thus the sticker and the little ruler on the flyleaf (for those who forgot to bring theirs !) :
